Melanie Davis

Class of 2009

Melanie is currently an assistant district attorney at the Fulton County (Ga.) District Attorney’s Office and the secretary of the Gate City Bar Association. She has performed in the Atlanta Bar Association's "Law Jam" at the Variety Playhouse (a national concert venue) and her band "Melanie and the Felonies" received high marks from celebrity judge Phaedra Parks of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

Brandon Helms

Class of 2007

Brandon spent four years at an Intellectual Property boutique in Chicago before moving to the Chicago office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he focuses on patent litigation. Most of his cases have involved pharmaceutical products, but recently he has moved into other technology fields such as liquid crystal display devices. He is experienced in all stages of litigation, including taking and defending depositions; arguing motions and hearings; and drafting trial, post-trial, and appellate briefs.

Keithan Hedrick

Keithan is an Associate currently at McGuireWoods, but will be with Perkins Coie as of December 17th. He practices mergers & acquisitions law and has a 4-year-old son. HIs wife is a first year law student at Chicago-Kent law school.

Jordan Huttenlocker

After graduating magna cum laude (and passing the Illinois and Indiana bars), Jordan began her legal career with a medical malpractice firm. Her experience during that first year led to her current job at Dykema Gossett, where she focuses her practice on medical negligence defense work. While Dykema may be considered a large firm, it has provided her with priceless opportunities such as daily court appearances, motion practice, deposition attendance, and expert witness contact to name a few. She is thrilled to finally join the prestigious legal profession.

William Patrick McKinley

A shareholder and business attorney with the Menn Law Firm, Ltd., in Appleton, William represents businesses of all different sorts, but specifically works with dental practices and medical specialty groups across the state, dealing with all of their various legal needs.

Amber is currently working for the Chicago Board of Education’s Office of the Inspector General. She is also a part-time JAG officer in the United States Army Reserve.
