| The
Walkers Darleen
and Robert Walker were lifelong residents of the Chicago area.
Mrs.
Walker graduated from Riverside-Brookfield High School and had a
long career as an executive assistant in the corporate offices of
Jewel-Osco in Melrose Park. |
Mr.
Walker worked for 20 years in the Clerk of the Circuit Court's office
in DuPage County, under John Cockrell, serving the bulk of his career
as clerk to Judge William Black. For
nearly 70 years, he was an active member of Masonic Lodge 1098 in
Lombard, Illinois, and he and Mrs. Walker were generous supporters
of the Masonic Children's Home in LaGrange. This scholarship fund
is established for the benefit of the legal profession and the Masonic
community. |
